Edward Jacobson assembled the first comprehensive collection of turned-wood bowls by contemporary American artists and generously gave that collection to the ASU Art Museum in 1989. The collection has since traveled internationally and continues to be recognized as the benchmark of quality in the field. In conjunction with this showing of the collection,the museum will present recent acquisitions that continue the
Jacobson legacy.

Organized by Marilyn Zeitlin, The Edward Jacobson Collection of Turned-Wood Bowlswill be installed in the Top Gallery of the Arizona State University Art Museum’s Nelson Fine Arts Center location.
Duration
The Edward Jacobson Collection of Turned-Wood Bowls (November 23, 2001 – January 6, 2002) is open Tuesday from 10am – 9pm, Wednesday through Saturday from 10am to 5pm, and Sunday from 1pm to 5pm.
