Join multidisciplinary artist José Villalobos and Alana Hernandez, Senior Curator of the ASU Art Museum, for a CHARLA as they explore the themes and inspirations behind Villalobos’s first solo museum exhibition in the U.S., titled “José Villalobos: Rough Rider” which is currently up at the ASU Art Museum. Villalobos and Hernandez will examine the intersection of personal narrative and cultural commentary, providing insight into his creative process. Together, they will discuss the dynamic relationship between the artist and the curator and how their collaboration shapes a meaningful and immersive experience.
