Staff Positions
Director of Development, ASU Art Museum
The ASU Foundation (ASUF) fosters partnerships between ASU and like-minded individuals, corporations and foundations who believe in ASU’s mission and provide resources for ASU to manifest its charter into meaningful impact. The Director of Development (DoD) at the ASU Foundation will report to the Senior Director of Development of HIDA. In this role, the DoD will collaborate closely with the Director of the Art Museum to support and advance the museum’s vision and programs. The DoD will be responsible for developing and executing fundraising initiatives and programs aimed at achieving the organization’s three-year strategic goals and ten-year plan.
The Director of Development is a fundraising professional with management responsibilities who designs and implements innovative programs to identify prospective major and/or principal gift donors and executes plans to qualify, cultivate, steward and solicit donors to secure and increase significant philanthropic support in partnership with other development staff, School/Unit Directors, deans and/or faculty and campus leadership, aimed at assuring long-term financial support for the ASU Foundation and Arizona State University.
Business Operations Specialist
The Business Operations Specialist will support Business and Administrative functions of the ASU Art Museum. This position will coordinate and organize the business operations functions including procurement, budgets, travel, student staffing, payroll and other functions designated by the Director. This position is intended to cover a broad range of responsibilities across the unit working closely with the Musuem’s department leads and HIDA’s finance team.

ASU/LACMA Fellowship
In May 2018, ASU partnered with the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on a new master’s fellowship designed to increase diversity among museum professionals.
