FUR, FEATHERS AND FAMILY: OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH ANIMALS
Do you have a favorite animal? A favorite pet? What kind of pet do you have? Come see how artists have depicted their favorite animals and pets – even a rhinoceros – in prints, paintings, ceramics, and sculpture. There’s even a place where you can draw a picture of your favorite pet!
Animals have an important place in human lives as companions and dependable workers. Kids can learn more about animals – how to care for them, the history of domestication, and how to pick a pet – through educational materials in the exhibition.
