William Kentridge: Works from Valley Collections

Drawn from local collections, this exhibition of work by internationally renowned South Africa artist, William Kentridge, features drawings, prints, film and preparatory drawings for films. Kentridge’s moody, powerful and expressive work tells the story of a post-industrial society that is in disrepair – similar to the current state of South Africa as it copes with the scars of apartheid.

ASU Art Museum Presentation

Organized by Heather Sealy Lineberry, the William Kentridge exhibition will be installed in the 2,800-square-foot Kresge Gallery of the Arizona State University Art Museum at the Nelson Fine Arts Center.

Duration

William Kentridge (January 27 – May 20, 2001) is open Tuesday from 10am to 5pm, Wednesday through Saturday from 10am to 5pm, and Sunday from 1pm to 5pm.

Support

The exhibition at the Arizona State University Art Museum is supported in part by Friends of the Arizona State University Art Museum.
